High Risk Pregnancy
A high- risk pregnancy is one in which the mother and/or her foetus (both or any one) face(s) a higher-than-normal chance of experiencing complications. This can be due to the pregnancy itself like low lying placenta, multi fetal gestation (twins /triplets),IVF pregnancy, previous recurrent miscarriage/preterm labor etc and /or due to maternal conditions like advanced age, obesity, high blood sugar, high blood pressure, lupus, cancer etc.
